  1. It’s a game thread. It’s going to be in the moment reactions. It’s literally the virtual version of you sitting at a bar watching the game and listening to how other people there react after a play.
  2. Then leave. All you do is piss and moan on your high horse about everyone else’s game thread reactions anyway. You realize we have to protect the arms of Miz and Harrison to actually be available in October, right? They are going to need to be limited, whether they are pitching well or not. They can’t send continually send Miz out for 100 plus pitches, or they aren’t going to last for when they actually need them. They have to find a way to limit them, whether that be from a short IL stint at some point, or a 6 man rotation, or shorter innings. It should not be that hard for you to understand.
  3. My thought is that if Woodruff is piggybacking he doesn’t need to be on 5 days rest, My hope with Miz and Harrison is that they could have shorter outings with a more rested pen with 3 of the 5 spots on piggyback. I don’t know. They need to try something. Winning isn’t sustainable with this bullpen and the McGees and Yohos available aren’t going to help anything.
  4. rotation: Miz Harrison Woodruff/Henderson piggyback Sproat/Patrick piggyback Gasser/Drohan piggyback Get rid of Kuhnel, only Uribe, Megill, Koenig, Ashby and Anderson left in the pen. Then upgrade from Anderson at the deadline and get rid of him. I'm not even kidding. Pen can’t blow games if they’re not pitching.
  5. Embellishment of the century. There’s loads of threads and posts on this board praising both the front office and management on this team. 95% of people here know what we have.
  6. I know this is a tough concept, but they are different prospects with different offensive skill sets and have had very different offensive seasons. I’ve been saying since Pratt was brought up that we shouldn’t expect much more from him than about what Ortiz does offensively.
  7. Pratt has been in the league for 2 weeks and there’s already a book out on him that he can’t lay off a high fastball. If he can’t fix that, it’s going to be hard for him to develop into even an average major league hitter.
  8. He actually still had a decent pitch to elevate on 2-2 and hit it on the ground.
  9. They need a minimum of two relievers. Kuhnel is dog crap and should be DFAed tomorrow. as it stands right now they are going to need the rotation to eat up a ton of innings in the playoffs.
  10. Once Sanchez took all the way and had a great pitch to hit on 2-1 it was all over.
  11. Hahahahaha, you cannot make this stuff up. Unbelievably pathetic situational hitting.
  12. That inevitable Bauers regression in the second half of this season is going to be painful to watch.
  13. We are going to have Blake Perkins instead of Andrew Vaughn batting to win the game, aren’t we 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  14. Oh, now you want to get a hit with runners in scoring position. Also - why in God’s name would you be risking getting thrown out at home with nobody out when your run is meaningless?
  15. We gave away the tying run I guess we figured hell, might as well give away the winning run. (Also this is freaking absolutely pathetic and embarrassing hearing the stadium erupt for this)
  16. His bat is not why they signed him and he was not hitting particularly well in Nashville. Not saying he couldn’t develop that part of his game someday, but he’s not currently going to be a high end MLB bat.
  17. Now we have to try to win with an offense that can’t score and a Dan Campbell look alike. Awesome.
  18. There was already one out. Why would you bunt when there’s already a runner in scoring position and 1 run wins the game?
  19. I mean when Cooper Pratt and Joey Ortiz are your options at the plate to try to win a game it’s probably not going to go well.
  20. Damn. Now we got a runner in scoring position and it will probably take a triple to score him.
