I've been looking forward to this game all week, or actually since it was named that Liriano would be facing off against the Rocket.

Pedro is pitching at noon, also, and then King Felix (pitching much better lately) goes against the Dodgers at 9:00. Good day to have the Extra Innings or XM.

I love it when pitchers on my fantasy team face off against each other. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Needless to say, I'm hoping for a pitcher's duel.

I know your pain. Hope for 8 innings of shutout ball from one and the bullpen blows it, and a complete game from the other for a win and a no decision.

Anyways, nice pickup with Liriano, he has been great this year.

Royals are winning 13-7, but last inning still booed Berroa (Royals SS) when he came to bat for an error that occured 2 innings ago.

4 game winning streak and the Royals' fans are still booing? SAD!

Clemens' mug shot on MLB.com gets me every time, just look at his face. How can you not laugh?

Tough loss for the Cardinals' Anthony Reyes tonight...goes a complete game (8 innings) giving up only one hit...though it proved to be the difference, a solo shot by Jim Thome in the 7th...White Sox win, 1-0...Reyes saddled with the loss...ouch

How about Miguel Cabrera getting a RBI single off the first pitch of an intentional walk? Pretty amazing stuff there.

How did that happen, did the pitcher just not get the ball far enough away or did Miggy just reach way out and poke at it?

It's on MLB.com's main page...

The pitcher got ultra-lazy and lobbed the ball about face high a little outside the strikezone and he put a perfect slap on it.

Not a bad day for the Brewers. By my count, not only did we gain a half a game on everyone ahead of us in the division, but also gained a half a game on everyone infront of us in the wildcard race that played except for LA. Good stuff.
