There is no way I'd have Corey Hart bunt for Mike Cameron and Bill Hall against Johan Santana. None. Gotta let your big sticks swing the bat.

Is there any doubt that, rather than a strain, Benny is going to have some condition that has only been previously diagnosed in tribal youths from Borneo who suffered the injury after some rite-of-passage ceremony gone wrong?

As long as his groin strain doesn't morph into vestibular neuritis again we should be fine, lol.

Can we give this junk a rest until he misses one than a start? The Brewers are not even in a position to trade for CC without Sheets performance this year. The guy deserves a break until we at least find out how bad the injury is.

Uh oh, Riske warming up.
Was there ever any doubt? He's the 7th inning guy just like Mota was the 8th inning guy.

Billy, make contact, please?

Man, I know Cameron wanted to get on base but bunting there is just stupid. Hall has looked horrible and Kendall has no bat.

Thanks for balking Santana!!!! 0-2 on Hall swinging at two balls and we get a huge break.

Bill Hall strikes fear into the heart of Johan Santana forcing him into a balk.

I'm not banging on Benny at all. I wouldn't mind bringing him back. It's just that the weird stuff always happens to Sheets.

Hall K'ing there was just a bit predictable.

The majority of this season Bill Hall has hit like a minor leaguer. He can't lay off half balls in the dirt and even come close to making contact in a situation where necessary. Sad descension from where he was 2-3 seasons ago.

Lets end this Shouse vs. RHB thing now please. It works against the likes of the Nationals and Pirates, not so much against the Mets.

Here comes Marlon Anderson vs. Riske probably.

Clearly the right move is subbing for Shouse here, but I want to say that Riske has struggled this season when inheriting runners. Maybe I'm wrong. I probably would prefer Gagne and then Riske gets a chance to pitch his own inning.

Well, that's not a good sign.

Granted Santana is out, but if Riske can't find the strike zone, we're in trouble.
