Nice way to land on his feet, considering at the time of his dismissal, he was just hoping to be reassigned within the Brewers' organization.

He always seemed to be preaching the right approach, and it will fit real well in the A's orginization. I think he would have done well with a more veteran ballclub. The young guys just weren't cashing in on what he was telling them.
