oops missed that. turned my head away and the AB was over. I assumed Macha had a good reason for pulling Parra. I should know better than to assume something like that.

This pitching staff is as bad as last years team. We have had one game so far where we have given up less than 5 runs. If we dont score at least 8 we cant win.

Our 8th inning guy has an era of 11.81 and our closer has an era of 12.60. I know it's a small sample and all that but those are not promising numbers.

There was an infield single (according to Gameday - correct me if I'm wrong there), a sac bunt, a grounder to first that Prince missed, a weak bouncer on a pretty good curveball, and a GIDP. So the Nats scored three runs and their best hit was a weak grounder.
