First Brewers game of the year for me! I'll be at the game tonight with my daughter and tomorrow with some friends. Two teams playing like crud...something has to give and I hope we bust out of it tonight.

 

Ryan Braun always does something special for my daughter and she'll be wearing her Braun shirt...I'm thinking he goes yard tonight.

 

SeriesFinale has it right...the reception for Prince should be interesting after last year's clubhouse charge. There is supposed to be a good crowd on hand tonight despite it being a Tuesday night vs. the Brewers. It's fleece night. Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo...think of it as LA's version of St. Patty's Day...should be a fairly boisterous crowd as well.

 

The LA Badger Alumni Club is going to the game on Thursday night. They usually bring a decent crowd that sits out by the Brewers bullpen. They are meeting at The Short Stop Bar on Sunset if anyone is around. I'm sure there will be plenty of PBRs for anyone who's a little thirsty! Unfortunately I can't make it that night, but it's usually a fun crowd.

See, it is pretty maddening. Why can't Macha figure out that Gomez could more easily draw a walk in the eight spot, and have the pitcher bunt him over? At least that would make more sense than having Gomez bunt in front of Braun. Macha could still see his exciting sack bunt, Gomez could still utilize his speed, and everyone's happy.
