Looking for a pizza sauce recipe

I am looking to try a new recipe for pizza sauce. I have a simple one and it's ok but not great. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Are you looking for spicy? If so, I've got a great sauce recipe that'll put some sweat on your brow. But, if you're not looking for spicy, you can always cut down the amount of ingredients.

Here it is:

Tomato Puree (a 28 oz. can will do about 4 decent sized pizzas)

Add in a little salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and finally, fennel seeds (about 1/4 tsp.).

Mix it to your own personal taste. I like to make mine really spicy, so I put a generous amount of the red pepper flakes and black pepper. I like to let mine "marinate" for a day or two to let the seasonings really sink in.

Enjoy!

That sounds pretty good but if I make it I would leave out the fennel seeds.

If you like garlic, make sure to mince fresh cloves (as much as you want, to flavor) and fry them slowly before adding to your sauce. If you fry too fast, it burns and tastes terrible......but fresh garlic tastes awesome.

I almost always use fresh garlic when cooking. I occasionally use garlic salt.
