Fielder (19), Hart (23), and Braun (25) all amongst the top 25 in all the majors for qualified players in OPS. Somewhat deflating that these quality seasons have been somewhat for naught in the larger perspective.

I agree with dadofandrew, and I think a lot of people severely underestimate the hit the offense will take if/when Prince leaves. Hopefully it is balanced out with (much) better pitching.

People have been spoiled by how good the offense is. Hart would be the cleanup hitter on a third of the teams in MLB.

Nobodies been spoiled by anything. The offense is good, but not great, as its been killed by the pathetic, though predictable, performances of Gomez and Escobar. Hard to say people are spoiled by an offense thats just 4th in the NL.

Actually, I agree with both X and Al, as the truly outstanding performances noted above (and Weeks) have been nullified by not only the pitching inadequacies but some very subpar offensive performances as well.

Fielder's presence in this lineup cannot be undermined...those 114 walks are more of a testement to me to how opponents view him than an exceptional batting eye.
