  1. Garrett Mitchell currently has a OPS of .975 yet when I read this thread I would think he was awful.
  2. Both games on brewers.tv game 1 also available on FS1 it appears. I hope he makes me regret saying this and I hope I’m not the first person to complain about the line up but Rengifo batting 2nd again is starting to annoy me
  3. Pete Crow-Armstrong in the month of August is currently slashing .165/.215/.237/.452 Good thing he plays defense in such a hard park to play defense like Wrigley field (this was a joke btw, anyone can play defense in CF in wrigley) because I’m pretty sure his bWAR and fWAR has gone up this month. His OPS since June 1st is .730. His current OBP overall is .291. Against LHP this year he is slashing 189 .219 .390 .609 He currently leads the NL in WAR. As someone who uses WAR and enjoys WAR what a terrible look for this stat.
  4. Trevor Plouffe today on the SkorNorth Twins show just mentioned when Yelich went down Ryan Braun heavily considered making a comeback this season at DH. Obviously it would have been a long shot, but the question is, do we think Braun at age 40 could still hit?
  5. His new swing reminds me of the person I hope he becomes. Jayson Werth
  6. What a embarrassing loss to such a bad pitcher. I’ve always had good vibes for this team but to let the Skelton remains of Adam Wainwright do this to us…. Not a good sign.
  7. I just don’t think you throw Duran on a 100 degree day for 2 innings when he has been struggling. But with that being said. Not like the other options were much better to be fair
  8. I’m not sure why you throw Duran for 2 innings but thank you Rocco. Also, the Twins bullpen. Woof.
  9. Mark Canha always ended up on my fantasy draft teams on The Show. To see him actually in a Brewers uniform is gonna be weird for me.
  10. It’s not gonna happen but honestly I think Chourio is ready for Milwaukee now.
  11. The one thing about Eloy and this is a total guess on my part, but I could see him as a guy that would flourish getting out of the dumpster fire that is the Chicago White Sox organization and joining a fun group in Milwaukee with a players manager like Craig.
  12. Really like this move. Santana is a plus defender at first and I think he will hit well in Milwaukee.
  13. Paul DeJong at 2nd with his defense and his power especially at AFF does intrigue me a little.
  14. Imagine how frustrating it must be to be a Reds fan. I almost feel bad for them.
  15. The Brewers are 1 for 18 with runners on base since William Contreras' single in the first inning. They are 1 for 15 with RISP overall. They are 0 for 7 with a runner on third, including four failed attempts to score him with less than two outs.
  16. Imagine how bad this line up would be if Yelich wasn’t having a good year. Just awful
  17. We might live in the Braves world. But we exist in Sal Frelick’s universe. Oh baby what a moment
  18. Did we really just pinch hit Wiemer for Tapia?
  19. I think JC is enjoying not using fake baseballs
  20. Probably the most fun I’ve had following the Crews minor league system since mid 2000’s. Man is it fun to have so much talent on the farm again.
  21. The thing that really sucks about the Turang and Wiemer situation is this. A lot of teams would love either one of these guys playing everyday, hitting 9th. They provide ++ defense and especially Wiemer has a chance to develop into a .900+ OPS guy. The problem is we have 2 of them playing everyday and in a line up where the guys before them are not having great seasons or are just not great hitters either. With that being said, zero chance and I mean zero I would think about trading him. He has a chance to be a multiple time all star. He reminds me of a more athletic Corey Hart, just with a better eye and better defense. He might not ever hit .270. But in the era of pitching we are in now, that’s ok. You don’t trade guys like that. IMO
