Tailgaiting in D.C.?

Do they tailgate there?

 

I may end up in DC this weekend, attempting to catch a game or two. Just wondering if I should tell my friends out there to get their little smokey fired up for my visit or not!

 

Also, if anyone has any advice on getting last minute plane tickets relatively cheap, let me know.

Brewer fans tailgate there. I saw no DC natives grilling when I went in '05, but about 10 Wisconsin cars grilling out. So, absolutely, bring out ol' smokey.

I was at an Orioles/Indians game earlier this year and there was NOBODY tailgating, but I don't think it wasn't allowed. The only rule I can tell you for sure is that they don't let you drink out of cans in the parking lots. Since we had nowhere to put it, they made us sit in the car and drink our beers (yes, in the car). So bring cups or bottles...
