They should start on time tonight although there remains a risk of periodic showers later on.
Looking at the advanced radar, it should be raining straight through until about 10 PM.

The radar I'm looking at shows that it's currently not raining around Wrigley, but there is a small cell a south of the stadium, and another thin line of showers that looks to come through in about an hour, and then it looks clear behind that.

Pretty sure obsessed works in meterology though, so I'll defer to whatever he says.

Yeah, I'm just going by weather.com radar and hitting next 6 hours. It shows rain starting again soon and then going all the way through 10 PM.

It looks like isolated showers now with another narrow line set to hit around 7-7:30. But it doesn't look heavy enough to cause a major delay. Not ideal conditions but nothing major. I am confident that they will get the game in, although I guess there could be a delay if the Cubs want to play it safe.

I loved how last night when a reporter asking RRR why he went with Estrada in the 8th, basically asking why not Hawkins or Braddock, all he said was Kam wasn't available. I honestly feel like it doesn't even cross his mind to use Braddock or Hawkins with a lead. Even though I hate losing to the Cubs at least now his horrible management is front and center and not being covered up by late inning heroics by the bats.

Also, no more Nieves! Thanks God!

Ohh, a rainout would mess up the rotation, and I'd been looking forward to a Greinke start on June 21. Noooo!

(Unless they simply skipped Narvdog for once, or played two on Thursday...I need to stop dwelling on this.)

If they do play, let's hope no Brewers slip and injure themselves (Yuni included) on the stupid slippery grass of stupid Wrigley.

Finally, and most importantly, happy birthday Robin19!

Edit: The photo in the lead post is my new favorite-ever photo of Narvdog.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a game with multiple rain delays, and probably eat both teams bullpens. Whether that is good or bad for us remains to be seen.

EDIT: Nevermind, just looks like it'll be a short delay at the start and that's it. Hopefully tomorrow ends up ok as well.

In other news, while waiting for this rain delay, the Cardinals are getting thumped by the Nationals. We might have a chance to pick up a game today.

Gotta cool the nerves on Brewerfan during the commercial breaks in the Stanley Cup Finals. Go CanucksCrew!

This is based on nothing but I just get a feeling this is going to be one of those crazy Wrigley games where there's like 1000 runs

That 2-seamer was nasty. I really hope Zambrano doesn't have that all night.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I get the feeling that this is going to be one of those games where the Brewers fail to take advantage in the first and then go down really meekly. If Braun and Fielder don't get it done, this team loses way, way more often than not. This is a team with a lot of holes.

I wasn't planning on watching this game, but Roberto Luongo ruined Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals.
