He does seem to be making better contact, although it is painful watching him try to beat out a DP. I really hope he can turn it around, but only time will tell.

I'm so glad we didn't call up Green or Gamel. Having Kotsay and Counsell in our lineup at AL parks must just look embarrassing to them.

For those complaining about Green not being in the lineup, I don't think it's that realistic to expect management to want to all of a sudden throw him in as the starting SS on the road against Boston for his first big league action in his life.

That's probably fair. No reason not to call up Gamel to play first or DH though
