I don't think DM has the luxury of firing a 3rd manager during his tenure. Just not gonna happen. That's basically saying fire me too.
I agree, as log as Melvin is the Brewers GM, Roenicke will be the manager.

Weeks really crushed that one the other way, about 2 feet from tying the game.

Tulo made that play look so, so easy. It's just unfair.

Like Prince said, Rickie hits the ball hard, things just get in the way.

Well that's because McGehee was running. He really didn't get a lot on the throw. Still a nice play but someone with decent speed and its at least close.

Great. I posted in the Pujols thread that the Braun injury had a greater chance of being a season changer than the broken arm. I hope I'm wrong about the ultimate result, but I think I was right on the probabilities.

Gritty veteran shenanigans are here. I'm guessing Braun probably just needs some time to work back into full games. Looks like his leg was locking up on him a bit. I'm kind of surprised Kotsay didn't start today. We'll see how it goes, though.

Braun pulled from the game, I wonder if he's headed to the DL this time?
If he goes on the DL, I would be pretty ticked that they didn't just do that instead of him playing these 2 1/2 games. Him going on the DL for 15 days would really hurt.

I'm still ok with Braun playing at 80%. But it will be frustrating if he has to go the DL.

Big chance for a rally here, can't miss this opportunity.

With as many pitches as YuniB swings at, does he really need to practice swinging the bat?
