This is so frustrating to watch. Lucroy is terrible on defense. Make a freakin throw.

While it wasn't the greatest throw, Prince needs to catch it belt high hitting the glove. It isn't like he had to pick it.

Lucroy has really struggled lately defensively. He is starting to look like a third baseman. We have all below average defenders on the infield, except for maybe Weeks. 3 runs should have been 0. I am venting here, but the last 6 weeks have looked a lot like 2007 when it unraveled after that loss to the Cubs. Going into this series we have won 3 of our last 10 series.

I agree Prince should of caught the ball. However, if Lucroy makes the proper throw in the first place it's 0-0 right now.

I know the error is charged to the catcher, but it's not unreasonable to expect the first basemean to catch that, either. Other than most games in CF, there isn't a plus defender anywhere on the field for Milwaukee.

I knew Colorado would score tonight. How the runs are classified doesn't really matter for the most part.

I, too, like the strike zone by this fill-in AAA umpire. If he stays consistent with it and doesn't get caught into the emotion of the game in the later innings.

Otherwise, yeah, should be nothing-nothing, but our catcher can't make a throw to the outside side of the bag to retire the side and the floodgates open up and turn a nothing-nothing game into 3-0, which might as well be 23-0 the way we play on the road.

A parked car has pretty good range if it is parked sideways.

I blame Wang.

Losing 2 games in a row isn't exactly unraveling. They could still split the series.

I agree that it looks really ugly right now, but there's still time for Melvin to get some help and an easier schedule ahead.

That just shows the depth of our defense suckiness. When 1 average play will get the job done we make 2 bad ones and then allow 2 more runs to be tacked on.

Its really quite remarkable if you think about it....lol

I am sure you were thinking of a Metro parked straight on. McGehee might be able to cover more ground than that.

Let's say the Brewers improve greatly and go 14-20 on the road the rest of the season (including tonight). To get to 88 wins they will have to play better at home than their current pace.

I don't know who has less confidence in winning this game right now, me or the Brewers' players. They look defeated from the moment they step onto an away field.

My favorite is "lighthouse", although technically that would cover the entire infield. "Kitchen appliance", perhaps.
