I think the team will. I'm more worried that the fans won't. The team is smart enough to judge Mat on his body of work not compare him as a rookie to Prince as a 6 year veteran. Fans I'm not as sure do that. I just hope they put him at first and leave him there as the starter for at least half the season no matter how he does. I don't think we can know anything about him until he has a fair shot. That takes at least half a season of regular play at minimum.
