I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Gonzo may approach Yuni's infield fly records by the end of the year

Impossible

What is encouraging about this team is that they don't depend on the big boys. If you told me Weeks and Ramirez would be batting .200 and Braun was stuggling to hit for power and drive in runs for the first few weeks. I would guess they would have 3 wins.

Everyone contributes from 1-9 and the bench. Once Weeks, Braun, and A Ram get going this team could get really hot.

That was my reaction as well, but we shall see. Yuni had 36 last year. Gonzo has 5 including tonight through 14+ games. On pace for 58

I couldn't help but look this up and Gonzo is actually worse than Yuni for infield fly balls, 17.1% to 15.3%. And of course Joey Votto still has yet to ever pop up in the infield.

That blurb about Pirates inside-the-parker reminded me how weird the Pirates season has been so far. Still not a single game in which either team has scored over 5 runs. The Cubs look like they have a chance to be historically bad this season and the Pirates may very well threaten some runs scored records.

Lucroy was close to being limited to adoption as the only means of having children

I laughed out loud at the slow-mo reaction to getting crossed up.

Fangraphs has him with 10 career. He did have 0 in his 2010 MVP campaign

From 2010 to 2012 Votto's IFFB% is 0.3%, the next lowest is Kendrick, 1.9%. He's the anti-Yuni.

THAT was a nice pitch.

Yeah, when you can totally fool Todd Helton, you know you've done something right.

Thought Veras had strike three on the first guy he walked, too.
