Hurricane Sandy

Ok, so normally the media overhypes these storms with terms like "Storm of the Century", etc. However, it appears that this time, the storm will live up to all the hype. This thing is a monster! The eye has not even hit the coast yet and the cloud cover extends over Lake Michigan right now. If you are downtown right now and look over the lake, the clouds you see are moving West. They are part of Hurricane Sandy!

It was a bit overblown in my part of West Virginia but I did lose power for about a day. Winds did not seem as strong as advertised. Rain was steady but not much in the way of downpours.

Seems better to oversell than undersell when it comes to natural disasters. Otherwise people don't really take it too serious.
