Solid rotation for the nats but there are some risks involved there.granted I definately would have taken on haren on that deal for us

I was really, REALLY hoping the Brewers would make a bid for Haren. The Nationals now are reporting they are out on Burnett after this signing (or it appears unlikely).

I mean, I knew he was going to get a chance sOMEWHERE, im just glad he's with a good team and not with someone like the Cubs or Pirates who have no shot, ya know?

Damn, I would have loved this. Always wanted to see Haren in a Brewers uniform, and only a 1-year commitment? Sign me up. Would have brought some nice stability while we feel out the young guys next year.

 

Please, please, please no 2 or 3 year deal for a guy like Dempster or Dickey....
