Does Hardy sign at the players lot this year?

I know I got him last year but I have only been twice this year and have yet to see him come in.

I got Weeks in June.

Luckily I always go when I am going to a game or going to a game the next day and spending the night at a friends place.

Yea it is totally not worth drving from the west side of Madison for people I have already.

nobody signs at the player's lot anymore, sorry to be bitter, but there are too many bandwagoners and new collectors out there...i remember last year, there used to be like 10, now it seems like there are 100...

I think this is too broad of a generalization to say nobody and anymore. On days that I am working after the game and have to supervise and assist security and ushers with escorting players and the players lot, I've seen plenty of the players signing lately. Cameron, Hall, Kapler, Hardy, Weeks, Fielder...I've seen just about every man of the 25 man roster sign atleast once during the last homestand. The collectors have also diminished significantly. Probably 5-7 collectors, 15 adults and 15 kids on a typical night game.

CC has. Most notably off the top of my head was after the National game with the Kapler walkoff dinger. Ted Simmons I can't confirm nor deny as I haven't paid attention to him specifically on any occassion.

Anyone else go to the Fergie Jenkins signing at the Madison Mallards game today? I was FAR from impressed with Jenkins, and am very glad he wasn't a player that I really looked up to. He seemed like a complete jerk. He had 2 handlers on each side of him. You went through the line, and he made you hand your item to the first handler, who would then hand the item to Jenkins, who would then hand the item to the other handler, who handed it back to the person.

I was towards the front of the line, and wasn't sure what was going on when I got there. He had a stack of 8x10's he was signing in blue marker, and I had a ball I wanted him to sign which I didn't want signed in blue marker. So I handed my ball to the handler, and asked if he could sign with the pen I had. He wasn't paying attention and reached for my pen, and put a huge ink mark across my ball. He said "Oops" before continuing to not pay attention. I was not happy about that. Then he handed it to Jenkins, who signed it and handed it to the other handler. I said "thanks a lot Mr. Jenkins" and he never acknowledged me or even looked at me. Jenkins may be the nicest person in the world, but I walked away thinking "What a jerk!"

Yeah, that's why I hate to make an impression on someone from seeing them for a couple minutes. He could have been having a bad day, or had his mind on something else important, or something to that affect. But he was sure rude to me.

Yeah, Vida Blue was there again. I was surprised, I was about 10th in line, and when they opened the gate there were probably only 75 people there. Everyone was going for Jenkins, and that's the only player I needed. But if I had stuff for the other guys, I could have gone right down the line with no wait on all of them. When the opened the gates, everyone rushed around the concourse to the autograph tent. We were walking behind home plate, when Brad Woodall turns from a concession stand in his old Brewers jersey with hot dog in hand. I thought that was pretty funny.

The few times I've met Fergie he was incredibly nice to me. Both times was at the All Star Fan Fest (one in milwaukee and the other in chicago). He was really nice to my younger cousins asking them about school and replied to my cousin "that was my favorite subject too." Maybe it was because there were kids around, but it was still a great experience for them and I had left with a great impression.

How much was the JJ Hardy signing at Jeffs?

Finally, how often does Kendall and Rivera sign in the lot? I'm gonna try to get down there one day early before the end of the season, but thsoe are the only two guys I need to finish my bat, I always have the hardest time getting catchers.

I'm going to a game next Thursday and was thinking of getting autographs as the player arrive. Can someone help me to what time and where. The last time I did this was over 20 years ago. Its a 7:05 game. What time do the players arrive and where is the players lot exactly? Thanks

The players lot is right behind the Tundra Territory section outside of MP. I am pretty sure you will see others already there when you go. I would just watch to see what these people do and follow them to get a good idea of how to get autos. as some players sign by the fence and others sign by the fence but by the gate they walk down into to get inside MP. I think the players come around 1PM- 3PM for a 7:05 game.

I went to the lot to get autographs Saturday and most of the players for the 6:05 game came around 1:45 and 2:30.

The only autograph I got was Eric Gagne. He made my day though since I was only hoping for one good player and I only had 5 bobbleheads with me all minor league . I think the only reason Eric Gagne signed was this little kid was asking him if he would while holding up a Dodgers Jersey. The annoying fat kid (nick) was also asking him and I think at first he noticed nick and was going to just say no.

I have a San Antonio Missions minor league bobblehead of Eric Gagne and He took it from me with a puzzled look and asked me what it was and I told while he was turning it around to look at his name and face on the bobble and then says "wow I didn't even know they had made one" I found it pretty funny he had no clue. Eric then turned it upside down and signed the bottom of the base. He said he would only sign a few but he signed for everyone which was cool there were about 15 people there.

I have had a really good week....

On Friday, I got my Ueck baseball signed on the ss after 2 weeks or so.

Today, I got Gallardo's ball back, signed on the ss. I sent it right after his injury, so early june.

Nick isn't the only problem. There are always the same 6 or 7 people there. Argue all you want that they aren't collectors, but no one needs 20 autographs of one player. I go to the lot about 5 times a year and sure enough the same people are there. The players don't sign anymore because they know what is going on. In the beginning of last year you could go and get Hart, Hardy, Weeks, Jenkins, Cordero every day now you are lucky to get Riske.
