WWE really needs legit heels right now, and Jericho and Kane provide that. They are both fantastic in that role, and they definitely add something. I think things are headed in the right direction with both back. Although, I'm not sure what they'll do with Kane once his feud with Cena is done. That'll be interesting to see.

i think ziggler will be a great heel. Del Rio can be one, but his push has definitely ended for now. they wasted swagger. i think Miz will have another push coming too. Raw definitely is stacked.

 

the problem is on smackdown. Henry is hurt and its sad that maybe their top heel on the show right now is Rhodes (not saying he isn't a good wrestler, but he shouldn't be the top heel)

Ziggler is awesome. Flat-out awesome. That's why I am kind of disappointed that Jericho is going to (likely, since it has been predicted for months) get programmed with Punk.

 

As far as the disparity between Raw/Smackdown, it's time to end the brand extension.

Loved the Jericho stuff. Classic Jericho, had the fans eating from the palm of his hand and then he became insufferable and they hated him 5 minutes later. Awesome.

 

Punk vs Ziggler was good, but of course given full time will be amazing at the RR. Kind of like that the match ended in a count out, something different than a DQ or clean win.

It's not like a Jericho/Punk feud would be the end of Ziggler. There's still other things he can do. And for all we know there might be new plans for Jericho will this Punk/Ziggler match happening at the Rumble. You'd think that a Jericho/Punk feud would've started right away with Jericho targeting him. Not sure what he'll do until after the Rumble if Punk is involved in a feud already. Maybe just avoid it and possibly win the Rumble, and then target Punk. It kind of seems like someone from Smackdown will win the Rumble though with all the main Wrestlemania storylines already being on Raw.

There were rumors that Orton was supposed to win the Rumble, but now with his injury situation it is kind of uncertain.

i agree it was a great return, still has to be more to the story line though. there was the line yesterday that "she hold the reason for my return" could it be stephanie coming back to take control from laurenitis?

"She holds the mystery of my rebirth.....For when I becken her I will return to claim what is mine" Yeah there's more coming I think more then just Jericho.

There's rumors now that Jericho will once again not speak this week on Raw. We'll see though. I think Stephanie will come back. That would be great, especially compared to Laurinaitis. Also, Barrett apparently claims that Orton is out past the Rumble on Smackdown this week. That pretty much seals it to me that he'll come back as a surprise and eliminate Barrett, probably eliminating himself in the process. I think someone else will win, because Orton would be too obvious. Vince seldom lets guys win big matches in their hometowns. But I guess it has happened a few times before.

I'm not against the Stephanie idea but it really doesn't make sense. If she wanted to have a lackey or something to do her bidding why not her husband Triple H? He's got a beef with Punk and Johnny Ace.

Nah, I'm cool with no on-air McMahons (aside from Triple H once in a while). That blows the whole angle to me. If they did this whole big build-up in order to get more McMahon airtime, that sucks. Also, I think Johnny Ace is starting to get a little traction.

The only thing I could see Stephanie using Jericho for is to get back on CM Punk for her father getting replaced as COO. Jericho wants to get at Punk for taking his catch phrase for "Best In The World" thing. Etc. There can be a lot to go into this.

It's not really the catch phrase it's the fact that they actually believe they are the Best in the World. Jericho will wanna prove that he's better than Punk.

It's not like that's the only thing that they will say to start the feud, lol. It's just obvious that it'll be brought up.

I don't know... I don't want to give WWE creative that much credit - hell, they have him on the house show circuit already. Would seem to make sense to bring "her" into it. Too bad Maria Kanelis is in ROH.

Pretty sure that whole she thing will end up being nothing more than a part of the video. I doubt anyone will actually show up. Never know though I guess. If someone does, the only person who makes sense is Stephanie. I highly doubt she'll come back to TV full-time though.

If that's the only option, I'm cool with them never acknowledging it. Look at the Raw GM pay-off. They really suck at telling a linear story, so it makes sense that they would ignore it.

Yeah I to read that. But that seems odd, I think he is going to be a heel, but he put a heel character in Otunga in the Walls of Jericho.

 

Oh well, don't care what they do, just glad Jericho will be back on my TV Monday nights. He and Punk will put on one hell of a show at WM if they go through with that match.

Yeah, I could see Jericho not talking again. Let it play out awhile while Punk finishes his feud with Ziggler. Personally, I'd like to see Jericho talk this week though.

He cuts such a good promo, he should be allowed to do it. At the same time, I'm cool if he doesn't barge in on Ziggler here and lets them finish up. It would really help legitimize him to let him have the spotlight vs Punk through Rumble.

I don't think he will play a traditional heel. He won't just beat up on the faces, he'll beat up the heels too but the fans will just hate him.
