  1. it was reported that this QB was Kyle Drones. https://lombardiave.com/packers-just-signed-rookie-qb-tried-keep-secret-before-draft. By the way, it does make sense that it was a UDFA, why would you want other teams sniffing around your secret weapon and saying, "well the Packers brought him in for a top 30 visit, we should look at this guy closer." Its chess not checkers.
  2. Smack was the only kicker drafted, I'm sure the Packers didn't want to wait.
  3. I think this was one of Gutey's best drafts, even considering that he had no first roung pick. Addressed all needs, no massive reaches. Dennis-Sutton is probably my favorite pick. Also moving up to get the best kicker in the draft with ballsy. Gives McMannus real competition.
  4. Honestly, as long as they keep this pick and future firsts , I don’t care what players they move, although I don’t really want Morant on this team, unless Jenkins is 100% on board that he can make that dynamic work.
  5. Even though the Bucks down own their pick, they should be in the top 10 this year. I do wish the Bucks would just do a hard reset and get as many picks as they can and move on from Giannis, but it doesn't look like thats going to happen. If Giannis leaves in FA with no compensation, it will set the team back years with being in cap and draft capital hell.
  6. I’m happy. It’s not the defensive tackle I wanted, but I don’t spend all day every day scouting these players. Let’s give Gutey the benefit of the doubt. I don’t worry about individual players as much as position.
  7. I Think its very possible Orange could be around in the 3rd round. It would be an excellent pick.
  8. like i posted earlier, as I get older and watch more of these, I am more concerned about position rather than the actual player. Every draft pick is a crap shoot anyway. From what I read just now, he could have been a first round pick, so Gutey got good value. If they would have went offensive line, like Pregnon, I wouldn't have been mad.
  9. Cisse wasn't on my radar, but he should have been. Seems like a prototypical Packers CB. good size and athleticism. A little raw which made him available at 52. If they would have moved up even a little bit to get him, I wouldn't have complained. Nice Job Gutey!
  10. the long rumored move of Tyler Black coming up is happened. You would have to believe this is his last chance before loosing prospect status. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/04/brewers-designate-luis-matos-for-assignment.html
  11. Sean Wright is not a real insider. Do not believe anything he posts.
  12. He is more of a defensive guy (which is a good thing). He did really change the culture in Memphis for the better (which is also good as the culture is as bad as I can ever remember). I know things got ugly at the end in Memphis (the beat guy for the Grizzlies was on WSSP in Milwaukee a few days ago to talk about the Jenkins era in Memphis, which is where all of the above came from).
  13. The lack of activity on this thread shows how big the problem is right now with the bucks. They literally hired the best coach available in this years offseason and there are 2 posts. I expected a 1st time coach who came cheaply. I doubt Jenkins did. This tells me that they do not think the Giannis divorce this offseason is inevitable. If it was going to be a complete rebuild, why pay another top coach, when you are paying Griffin still and Doc?
  14. Packers won't take him at 52 but I do really like D'Angelo Ponds. As I watch more and more of these and have less and less time to research, I am more hoping for positions rather than individual players. I do hope (and think) they focus on CB, pass rush, and offensive line.
  15. They need to get a vet somehow. they can't go into the season with a day 3 QB and Desmond Ridder.
  16. congrats on 20 years and I am certain i have read all 20. I can't go as far as you do, but I did find 2 players that just seem to fit in as Packers. So I will throw them out and see what happens. 52: Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee 84: Tacario Davis, CB, Washington
  17. OK, i was going off of this, but thats from the 8th https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/milwaukee-brewers-announce-robert-gasser-injury-after-just-1-start-at-triple-a/ar-AA20rvZD
  18. Two fairly large bits of news came out yesterday Marquette will play a home and home with National Champion Michigan the next 2 years and they signed the #7 guy in the portal. They really needed an established big and paid what it took to get one. https://www.anonymouseagle.com/marquette-recruiting/36737/golden-eagles-mens-basketball-louisville-transfer-sananda-fru-commitment

  19. Gasser is hurt. Henderson will be up at some point, but I think he needs to be stretched out more. His start during the DH wasn't great. I think the Brewers just need to let Uribe close and let Megill pitch more less stressful innings to get his confidence back. The Brewers don't really have great bullpen options. Zerba has struggled too. Honestly, if the brewers don't want to give the job to Uribe, I'd give it Ashby.
  20. If the bucks want a defensive coach, Sweeney, if they want offensive coach, Nori. I really don't want a vet coach unless Giannis stays.
  21. I also think there is a 0% chance that Hurley would want to come here when he can stay and win chips at UCONN or get a high profile NBA job.
  22. I just hope it isn't Ham and its not in the Rivers /Bud coaching trees. Bucks need a complete makeover.
  23. planning on stopping at the team store this weekend to see what CC stuff they have. Im not a jersey or hat guy but would love a polo with one of the alternate logos. anyone stop down there during the last homestand?
  24. The bucks will owe Doc 10 million and Griffin 4.5 million next year. I don't see a top candidate like Jenkins wanting to come here with so much uncertainty and I don't see the bucks paying top dollar for a coach. Now if Giannis does indicate that he will sign the supermax in October that would change things. I think he is gone and the roster will be young. I like the idea of hiring a guy like Sean Sweeney, Sam Cassel, Chris Quinn, etc
  25. Makes sense, with the rainout and the day off, only need a 4 man rotation.
