Chris Narveson has signed with the Yakult Swallows for a reported $850K. That might be a good business decision, as he gets paid more than he would with a AAA contract and as we seen with McGhee, a good season over there can pay dividends and lead to a return to MLB. Good luck Chris!

Seems like it's getting more and more popular for marginal MLB talents to go overseas and see if they can re-establish their value. Good for him.

 

I was thinking the same thing. It seems like every day a player who has spent significant time in MLB is signing with a Japanese or Korean team.
