2014-08-16 Brewers (Gallardo) at Dodgers (Kershaw), 8:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 3-2; Yo with 8 strong innings]

[jason21nl]

I can't believe anyone ever throws him a first pitch strike

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Agressive swing by Gomez. HR and double on first pitches tonight.

[topper09er]

CarGo! I guess the Dodgers didn't get the league memo on Gomez swinging at every first pitch

[DuWayne Steurer]

Lucroy needs to stop swinging at the first pitch. It may work for Gomz, but it's not working for him.

[Abe525]

Gogo!

That feels goooood.

[TooLiveBrew]

I hope we see a nice 8-pitch PA from Braun here. It'd be nice to see them drive up Kershaw's pitch count a bit.

[AZBrewCrew]

If the Brewers tack on another couple runs, do you think Kershaw gets pulled?

[folly412]

The first pitch kill swing is actually fun when it connects.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Davis robbed by Crawford; just missed another run. Making some good solid contact against Kershaw.

Crawford needs to learn to replace his divots.

I was thinking the same thing about the divot.

[wildcat83]

Doesn't look like rain will last all night, but what happens in Cards game if they can't resume? The go ahead slam was in the inning that isn't completed.

[folly412]

Lucroy now 0-16 against Kershaw.

[TGOTJ]

Boy, some REALLY solid corner infield defense tonight.

[MoreTrife]

Man Ramirez is just so steady.

[razzzorsharp]

Rameriz makes those plays look easy.

[liveforoctober]

You know...as much as we bag on Reynolds. Hes made some plays that even Prince likely doesnt make

Blue font? I don't think Prince makes half of the plays that Reynolds has made this year...

[DocLuna7]

What is it with LAD shortstops against us this year?

[AZBrewCrew]

That was a filthy pitch

Per Rule 4.12(a)(5) the game is suspended not called so the GS isn't wiped out.

[DuWayne Steurer]

How is he out of the baseline? He touched the base.

[TooLiveBrew]

Can you challenge that DP slide from Weeks? If so, it should be overturned.

[razzzorsharp]

Guess he should slide away from the base from now on.

[wildcat83]

He physically touched the base, how can it possibly be considered out of the base path?

[MoreTrife]

That's a chickenshit calllll

[topper09er]

what was going on there, Weeks easily touches the base and hit him with his head? great thing for instant replay to prevent obvious bad calls from happening
