Whips

I saw Whips in Appleton last weekend on the Mile of Music...

 

Man, they blew me away! Anyone here seen them in the Milwaukee area? They are from Milwaukee after all.

 

Singer's voice is just plain awesome! She was a treat to watch as well.

 

Bought their cd after their performance and literally can not quit playing it. It's been a long time since I was this excited about a band, much less a band that is virtually unknown to the rest of the world...

 

Anyone else get infected by them?

Heard them on youtube a couple of times and I am not impressed they sound like every other garage band that I have heard in the past few years. Not really all that impressive at all.

Saw the title of this thread and was thinking it was going to go in a completely different direction.

I don't understand the people on the stage eating while the band plays their tunes, but whatever floats their boat.
