That certainly puts things in perspective. It can be hard for me to have that mindset knowing that the drafted talent won't be seeing playing time in the bigs for at least a couple years (if ever).

 

I'll put myself into the camp of people who never really get overly excited for the draft, but after reading that article, I'll be sure to pay more attention next time.
