Just said on the Dodgers broadcast that Norris is expected to start in place of Kershaw who will be out for an unknown amount of time.

 

Kershaw/Norris... Yea... Similar.

I don't know a ton about prospects, but neither one of the guys the Braves got were on the MLB top 30 for LAD. Was this more of money deal for the Braves?

Norris was on a one-year, $2.5M deal. Not a whole lot to be saved, especially considering that the Braves apparently sent some cash to the Dodgers. I'm guessing/hoping it was to cover the luxury tax on Norris' salary, as there is no way the Dodgers should get cash to pay Norris the $1.25M he is owed for the rest of the year.
