Could you argue there that Nick Williams should have dropped that foul? With Aguilar at 2 strikes in the count and already down 3.

I get the concept, but I think you take the second out of the inning and just give up the run. Aguilar can make it 3 runs instead of 1 real quick.

You could, but Aguilar could just as easy jack the next pitch he sees. You have to take the out and avoid the big inning, not that Philly has done that though.

Arrieta pitch count is making me chuckle. Think Kapler will have him potentially eat a big number or do we get the BP soon? I know it's not all his fault, but, you know, Cy Youngs and all that!

A nice residual effect will be getting the Philly bullpen to work early in the first game of the weekend.

Dang. I just noticed Suter has the 5th best ops in the lineup! .788 ain't bad!

His ops would be second best in the opposing lineup too!

5 is a pretty crooked number. Good result from that inning. Suter needs a quick shutdown top of the inning to follow.

Hopefully if Suter is doing good we let him pitch a little. Not bail after 5 innings to kill the bullpen.

So, uh, Zack Brown is having a really nice game through seven (ahem)...

And at only 79 pitches thus far.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

You mean his perfect game?

Of all the games televised on MiLB.tv they pick tonight to not have a Biloxi broadcast.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Late to the party. Did the Brewers really score 5 without a homer???

Yes. The first one on a Suter HBP with the bases loaded, two on an error, one on a sac fly caught in foul territory and one on a wild pitch.
