Struggling for offense but we can’t put Aguilar at 3B and Braun in LF. Especially with Shaw out. Counsell needs to look in the mirror when wondering why some of this crap happens. Perez either starts at SS or he doesn’t at all. So dumb.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I like that Perez is in there batting 5th. He has excellent career numbers against Taillon. Thames in RF seems weird, he can't have a better arm than Yelich can he? I doubt the Pirates hit any doubles today...singles, triples, HR only.

I look forward to when Peralta starts however I do wonder what their plans are with him. If he somehow secured a starting spot in the Brewers rotation he would surely hit an innings limit at some point.

Dodgers just took a 4-3 lead against Cubs in top of 9th

If pitchcast is accurate, the Cubs have been getting calls like friggin crazy too. Kemp, Grandal, and Roberts were all ejected arguing calls...yet those same pitches are balls when Cubs are hitting. It gets old seeing this game after game.

That line up will score double digits, bank on it!

Other than Aguilar and Villar our starters have killed Taillon. This will be the first time any of the Pirate hitters have seen Perralta unless they faced him in the minors. With his deception hopefully it will take them a while to pick up his release point.

We can scratch Aguilar off the list.

Get Cain, Yelich, Aguilar, Thames, and Shaw in your lineup basically every day and you should be in pretty good shape, in theory.

I was suprised Thams in RF instead of LF. Anyone know which he was playing during his rehab starts? Obviously in the bigs for us he's just been in LF whereas Yelich has done a lot in RF

Yeah, let's keep Thames at first.

Looked no worse than Santana out there, honestly. Tracked it well, got there well. But yeah, he's gotta catch that.

I think its time every anti-aguilar fan (and there arent many left)

officially get your head out of the sand

He may yet regress this year but,

he has a .296 average, 13 homers and 44 rbis

At what point do you guys run out of things to complain about...lol
