I can't help but think Zagurski was called up because he'd be easily dumpable. But then he gets put in the game in a tight spot? Come on guys. I know you need spots eventually for Miley and Davies, but don't sacrifice wins now for that. Put the best team on the field, and figure things out later.

When you run a seven men pen, it is hard to hide more than 1 guy from leverage situations if you have a few tight games in a row.

It was just a matter of time. Of course Thames did play that pretty badly as expectd, but a depleted pen didn't bode well for their chances to win. We really needed Williams to pitch much better than he did today. This could get ugly.
