2018-07-01: Brewers (Peralta) at Reds (Harvey) 12:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 8-2]

[jason21nl]

Looks like Braun gave up on the ball

[MrTPlush]

Yes, and CC is wrong, Aguilar needs to be playing every day. If Prince Fielder could do it anyone can

You cannot just compare two players like that.

[Eye Black]

It’s early, but Peralta’s command does not look very good today.

[pacopete4]

Not everyone is the same. Different strokes, for different folks.

[pacopete4]

The ball bounced at the base of the wall in left CF. Let’s be a bit realistic here. I know times are tough after dropping one game in a row yesterday.

[jjgott]

Not an optimal start

[PinaMadness]

Send Peralta down.

[82brewcrew82]

This is what relying on rookie pitchers looks like.

[PinaMadness]

Gees, Votto cries like a five year old girl a couple times about balls and strikes and the umpires get bullied into shrinking the strike zone for him.

[pacopete4]

I can see why Votto is such a great hitter. He doesn’t have to swing unless it’s a cockshot.

[jason21nl]

It’s also what it looks like when the umpires refuse to call a strike on the corner against Votto

[PinaMadness]

The very last thing we needed was for Peralta to get shelled early. Wilkerson may get called for long relief if this continues.

[markedman5]

I was hoping for a split when the series started........looks like that's what we'll get.

Freddy was due for a clunker

[82brewcrew82]

Umpires are not responsible for a lack of control.

[PinaMadness]

The offense has to break out in a big way today. And I mean big. This is the 7th inning of yesterday's game all over again.

[markedman5]

Reds can really hit

[MrTPlush]

Zero control and velocity doesn’t seem to be there.

Long day is a coming.

[folly412]

Wilkerson might be getting the start today, after we take our mulligan.

[tmwiese55]

Fastball was 89-91 right away, had a feeling this was gonna go badly. hopefully can get outta this inning with 3 and get like 4 innings out of him

[NYChez]

Redemption day for Zagurski.

[pacopete4]

Sunday games have just been the worst. On a day I like to relax and watch the game, they have put up some real stinkers.

[yfinn6]

What a terrible start.

[MrTPlush]

Haha a special level of suck today.

[PinaMadness]

So who all here has been to Ollie's Bargain Outlet?

[yfinn6]

Gift strike 3 against Blandino.
