Fiers is having a really nice season. I would totally grab him if the price is right.

I brought him up in the Fulmer thread. Salary isn't much, shouldn't cost much to acquire, and still has a year of team control. Plus the whole pitching well thing.

Al Avila said A’s and Brewers inquired on Fiers, showed “mild interest,” but nothing close to a deal. “It really didn’t get very far,” he said.

 

Interesting, maybe something could still happen in August.
