Knebel looks better last couple outings. Ducks couldn't get out of the inning but the bright side is more work appears to be helping. Last inning was our inning to win it. Too bad.

If that is the case, then the move has to be questioned. Not slamming the move, just questioning it, however, given the other options, it probably made sense.

As noted he doesn't have a lot of options and you have to remember chance of an extended game. For al the hindsighting, after two outs and nobody on was anyone thinking "Knebel looks effed this is a huge mistake?" No, he looked fine. It was the same issues he runs into on rest or not, gets behind in counts and has to tee up the fastball, sometimes MLB hitters hit that
