Not sure what Brandon Drury's next contract would look like, but he seems to fit some Brewers needs.

Not sure the Brewers could even get Trevor Bauer.

So he isn't one of the best SS to ever play the game? No one in the league is close to being as good as Simmons defensively.

I have no idea if it is still around, but perhaps MVP Golf Academy. If not there, Cedar Creek or Northland Golf ans Ski may be other options.

Chase Anderson to the DL with a neck strain. That ball by Tatis Jr. was an absolute rocket.

Thanks for the reminder!

Bob Nightengale @BNightengale Colorado #Rockies offer Nolan Arenado a record-breaking contract for average annual salary. Nolan Arenado has been offered an extension of 7 years and 245 million.

FWIW, the Bucks seem to be sending an offer to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. I don't know how they could possibly pull this off, but I like the aggression. Good ole' Gery Woelfel says they are willing to offer anyone that isn't named Giannis.

If that were to be a thing ever, it needs to be done for Uecker.

It really is amazing. There have been multiple games where the bench in the 4th have given up 20+ point leads and they only win by 10 points. The Memphis game would be the most recent example. The only this I miss about Jason Kidd was having the ability to watch Giannis for 38+ minutes a game

They have Taylor Ward (3b) who broke out last year in the minors. I have no idea if they think that can translate to big league success, but he may be the current option along with La Stella. Angels haven't had a 3rd baseman since Troy Glaus (thanks Dallas McPherson and Brandon Wood).

A lot of incentives in this contract: up to $3.5 million extra in incentives. Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal Pomeranz with #SFGiants: One year, $1.5M. Plus: $250K each for 25ip; 50ip $125K each for 2gs; 4gs; 6gs; 8gs $100K each for 10gs; 14gs; 16gs; 18gs; 20gs; 24gs; 27gs; 30gs $200K for 32gs Plus: $500K if on OD active roster $250K each for 90, 120 days on active roster: $500K for 150. 2:48 PM - 23 Jan 2019

It's the 2nd naming of the stadium, as many people have indicated it will always be "Miller Park" to them so there is often a hit with the 2nd naming as the new name is often ignored. It's very likely after the next naming contract for the Bucks that they get a lot less than the initial naming rights... Ah, that makes some sense. I would also add all of the extra concerts and events the an arena will hold in comparison to the few concerts the Miller Park holds. Fiserv Forum can be used 365 days a year.

It would be awesome to watch Trout and Harper, but I don't see it happening. If that dang Pujols contract wasn't weighing them down for another 3 year, then perhaps. I think they will stick with Upton, Trout, and Calhoun as their OF'ers.

Dang, that's cheap. I could see him having a very good season in that ballpark (if he stays healthy).
