2018-09-04: Cubs (Montgomery) at Brewers (Miley) 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 11-1]

[PinaMadness]

That's ok, Braun can jack one out and give all the Cubs fans a collective aneurysm.

[mtrebs]

Aguilar just battling away down 0-2. Nice AB

Yep, hopefully he can capitalize here

[wildcat83]

Ouch! 97 mph hbp

That’s why they aren’t comfortable in the box.

Well...zero plate discipline, but at least he is making contact.

HBP will do!

[KeithStone53151]

Talk about a scrub pitching line, age 26 with two cups of coffee and a career WHIP way over 2.00 and you put him in in the 6th down only a couple.

It's all cumulative. Maddon uses all his relievers all the time and wonders why his guys wear down. Strop/Cishek/Wilson are probably about as worn down as it gets and there's still a month to go. As much as CC will leave relievers in too long, he's careful to give guys rest so our key guys are much more fresh than his key guys. Really a perfect bullpen manager would be a hybrid of those 2

[Matt Breen]

If Braun could get on a hot streak... let's start it now.

[LouisEly]

Dammit, all we need is for Aguilar to have a broken hand or finger.

[markedman5]

Can you imagine the meltdown on this board if the Brewers had played these last 2 games like the Cubs have? It would be epic.......

[igor67]

I'll repeat myself I'll take free runs anytime, save the pride until we have a championship

[young guns]

The pitcher finally got pissed with jesus fouling off all those pitches.

[Eye Black]

Are they bringing in a lefty to face Braun? I feel like Maddon is trying to test the “conventional wisdom” a little too often tonight.

[treego14]

Too many pitches on Brewers' batters hands!

[dlk9s]

No wonder this pitcher never gets any time in the bigs. Talk about no control over his pitches. And that slider is fantastic, too.

His mechanics and release point look all sorts of borked.

I didn’t think any of the pitches were terrible, rather have him protect.

[markedman5]

So a pop up and an infield grounder are our only hits in this inning......

[stoutdude04]

Braun missed a meatball...damn.

[jjgott]

Brauny...c'mon bud!

[LouisEly]

Does Knebel still come in, or do they go with Burnes or Barnes?

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Braun missed a meatball...damn.

Yeah, Braun from a few years ago crushes that 475 feet to dead center.

[PinaMadness]

Great at bat there, Perez.

[yfinn6]

Jesus Braun.. that was on a tee.

I say go with Knebel or Albers. Get them right. Any hint of trouble, have Burnes or Soria ready.

I send out the best option. Let’s not make it a game again.

[TigerUppercut]

Perez and his incredible plate discipline on display there.
