Imagine if we had saved almost all of those 2 minutes instead of just 20 seconds. Could have gotten something better than that circus.

Unfortunately it's looking like my preseason prediction for this team may be deadly accurate for the first time in my life.

 

Thought the additions were desperate, over-the-hill vet types and that years of bad drafts would catch up to them. I think they did well in this draft, but the foundation is too shaky. And guessed that McCarthy would be fired during or the day after the season.

 

Sure, they've done this before and then squeaked into the playoffs, but I think this roster is seriously devoid of talent in some very important spots.

It never was. Thompson is so much more to blame for a lot of this.

NFL is a joke, no consistency. That was 15x worse than the Matthews one or the one called on MIN last week.

What is Matthews suppose to do? Slow down to not hit him so hard and he can get away from him or throw it away? Do you just go hug him until they call it dead? Stupid rule and its ruining games. IT SUCKS.

 

I wish McCarthy would have gotten ejected. Someone needs to make a statement about this. It has to stop.

It would be so easy to act it out to be worse than it is for a QB. If they don't retract these new tackle rules people are going to stop watching.

 

In three weeks:

1) Packers almost lost because of one of these trash calls

2) Got robbed of a win because of one of these calls

3) Might help put the early dagger into them today because of a trash call
