Interesting line-up. Glad we are giving Thames a chance to win that 1B job outright.

Interesting indeed. Woodruff in the 8 hole? Why isn’t he hitting cleanup? What is Counsell thinking?

I don't mind Woody hitting 8th at all...I am not a big fan of Arcia at #7 though.

Geez, Syndergaard's ponytail is just putrid looking on a professional baseball player.

Agreed!

The Mets defense is putrid for professional baseball players, too, apparently.

Lol

My favorite part was Cain slapping d'Arnaud‘s chest protector as he rounded third base.

It's been a while since I've seen a throw so unnecessary as that throw by Alonso. The fielder he threw the ball to was further away from 2nd base than Cain was.

Strike 'em out throw 'em out. Beautiful.

I think someone mentioned this earlier this week, but coming into this series the Brewers had played 24 of their last 33 games against the Dodgers and Cardinals (going back to last season). It’s nice to have that stretch over with and now facing some different, albeit still tough, opponents.

Second night in a row the Brewers have had the bases loaded with one out in the 2nd inning and were left with nothing to show for it.

Remember when the Mets wanted Lucroy for D'Arnaud and Mets fans were like that's an awesome deal for the Brewers and Brewers fans were like you guys are on crack? Turns out Mets fans were on crack.
