2019-05-16: Brewers (Davies) at Phillies (Eflin) [Brewers win, 11-3 -- Four home runs combined from Yelich (2), Grandal, and Moustakas; Braun stays hot at the plate]

[Greenleaf1]

95! Hey hey hey!

[Oxy]

CC has used Braun and Gamel perfectly this year.

[Brew crew 92]

Albers at 94 mph is a different animal.

In a couple weeks, Albers will be our worst pen arm, that’s what I call a strong bullpen.

[Harold Hutchison]

OK... another bomb by Yaz would be good...

[Harold Hutchison]

OK, a walk by Yaz isn't so bad...

Bases juiced for Hiura.

[jjgott]

Winning is fun.

[Harold Hutchison]

Darn it, Keston!

[Brew crew 92]

Hiura’s swung and missed 8-10 times today, at least half of them in the zone.

[jjgott]

Hiura's clearly a "to all fields" kinda hitter, so it's a bit strange how much he seems to be trying to pull everything. He just looks off up there, but honestly I can't imagine the nerves of going to the Major Leagues for the first time, combined with Hiura being a slow starter at just about every level he's played at. Hoping it's just that and in a week or two he'll be comfortable.

In the meantime, would probably keep him 7th and let Thames or Aguilar bat 6th, but it's probably not that big of a deal either way.

Yeah I think it's gotta be nerves, especially because he's come up a couple of times now with the bases loaded or multiple guys on base. Hopefully in a week or so we see him get the bat on the ball more often.

[liveforoctober]

This is Hiura's "welcome to the big leagues" stretch...

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Keston is gonna be good at some point. It is possible that point has not come yet, though.

[liveforoctober]

Thames and his almost .400 OBP. Through all the ups and downs with that guy ... he always has taken his walks.

[Greenleaf1]

Matty gonna get an AB here?

[Harold Hutchison]

Arcia whiffs...

[sarcasm]All right, call up Erceg, play him at third, Moose at short, Hiura/Shaw at second, Thames/Aguilar at third.[/sarcasm]

[Greenleaf1]

Matty gonna get an AB here?

Guess not.

[AKCheesehead]

I see football season has already begun, Lions vs Raiders.

[Greenleaf1]

This has been such a weird series.

Brewers have left the bases loaded SO MANY TIMES, and sometimes with nobody out.

And yet they're hitting so much that they've scored tons of runs and won games anyways (hopefully continuing that trend here today).

[Harold Hutchison]

Bases loaded, no outs... you'd like to come away with more than two runs in the inning - one of which was a solo shot BEFORE the bases were loaded.

[MrTPlush]

Christian Yelich...I mean wow. Dude could honestly hit 50 homers this year and I wouldn't be shocked.

[Bulldogboy]

Hopefully Houser can finish this drama free. Good series bounce back.

[Greenleaf1]

I think Rock just said nobody was talking about Guerra as a bullpen ace before the season. Clearly he doesn't spend much time on Twitter.

Wasn't' he the guy who said nobody thought Suter would make the majors?

Loved the guy as a player... wish he'd gotten more ABs as a catcher for the Crew... but as a commentator, I sometimes think I'd do better.

[Greenleaf1]

I must've missed the announcement that Anderson was starting Saturday. Peralta to AAA?

[Harold Hutchison]

Ben Gamel's had a bad day... 0-6, 4 K?

Don't get me wrong, I love Schroeder as an announcer. But I also wouldn't really ever expect him to be plugged into the online community either.
