You think there is a thread on a Mets board somewhere where fan are upset that their team didn't move DeGrom up to face Woodruff tonight?

It depends if they plan on throwing deGrom on Sunday.

Do you think that counsell set up his rotation so that woodruff will pitch the game before all starts break so he won’t pitch in the all star game. Or was that just luck.

He’s pitched every 6 days……it’s just luck….but I’m sure he’s happy it worked out that way.

I’m not sure if this is meant as sarcasm, but since it isn’t in blue I assume not.

With some of the minor injury issues deGrom has had, I doubt if Mets fans are anxious to see him pitch with just 3 days rest.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Maybe as part of the grand load management plan, Counsell will bring in Bettinger or Ashby or someone else to pitch on Sunday so Woodruff can pitch a few inn8ngs in the ASG. Then he can have another 6 days of rest and pitch against KC the following Tuesday.

Cubs are loaded. Bryant, Kimbrel, Darvish, Schwarber, Chapman, and Castellanos all made the all-star team. No, wait…

Taylor looking for something other than a meatball, apparently

Feels like a tough stretch at the plate is coming so the pitching is going to have to really do the job.

It does kinda feel like it

Huira crashing back to earth.

Next time he comes back from AAA he needs to bring his hitting coach with him.

Because every time he comes back he hits for a bit and then within a week or two goes right back in the tank.

That was a classic Keston AB. Swinging through pitches.

Yeah, I’m not sure where they go with Keston from here aside from being a piece in a trade with a rebuilding team. How on earth can this guy not hit a belt high fastball no matter the speed?

And it's so obvious he has such a messed up swing path that they can't seem to fix for any stretch.

Since his return he is 10-38(263) with half of those outs being strikeouts(14) and 5 walks. So it isnt like he has been completely useless since his return. It is frustrating watching him miss hittable pitches though.

But four for his last 21 with 9 k's. It always seems like after he comes up he hits for about a week and then goes right back in the tank
