Bats just really struggled today. Guys were scattered on the bases but just couldn’t get that big base hit.

And Woo on the mound. For whatever reason they just don't score runs when he's on the mound.

Don’t understand Reyes here instead of Tellez. Rowdy rakes against lefties.

And Reyes couldn't hit a position player.

Sure about that? I’m pretty sure he hit a double.

That was him the other night wasn't it.

Curtiss sure sounded a lot better on paper than he actually looks in his debut. Poor command and at least two hanging sliders.

He looks a little uncomfortable on the mound tonight. Hopefully he finds a way out of the mess.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Yeah he does. I don't mean to suggest I didn't like the trade or anything, just doesn't seem to have it going in his first game here.

I edited my post since the image didn’t show up for me, but he hit a double against Nogowski.

Never seems to take long for playing a player out of position to be costly.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Escobar sort of lucky he didn’t get his right hand stepped on as he reached for the ball on the ground as Soler was running by.

It’s possible that a taller first baseman not making his debut at the position might have gotten that ball. That said, not sure why Adames didn’t go to second.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

That’s good for me tonight. The ripple effect of a blown call is pretty crazy.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
