I don't understand why CC just doesn't hit and run when JBJ is up with a runner on first and one out to stay out of the double play, provided JBJ actually puts the ball in play.

JBJ seems so completely lost at the plate. I held out hope longer than most, but at this point putting him out there is pretty much just throwing away outs. I know they have no choice with the apparent Cain injury, but having him now stuck in the middle of the order certainly isn’t ideal.
