Like last night I’m reminded why I’m glad the Brewers wrapped up the division before this road trip.

 

If Counsell wanted to limit pitches for Burnes tonight he might be done after three.

How in the hell is anybody going to beat this Dodgers team in a 7 game series?

I guess we don't have to pay attention amy more then. Barley 50/50 to beat Atlanta, no shot against LA or STL. Just pack it up now.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

The Dodgers are what is wrong about baseball

 

Have an injury or underperformer? Just go buy a star. If for some reason you can't buy a star, pay pennies on the dollar in trades for other teams' stars. Easy way to win.

Check that, Corbin Burnes gave up one home run with multiple runners on base in the first 311 2/3 innings *in his career.*

 

He just gave up a three-run homer to Justin Turner in the first inning of Burnes' 2021 regular-season finale.

We as a fan base don't really know, because the Brewers have never, ever been in this position.
