Morton is putting it where he wants it. He’s only got two pitches going, but he has absolute control of them tonight. Burnes has the whole arsenal, but not much of a feel for any of it, and it is been the difference so far in this one.

it's 0-0 and neither team has a hit.

Of course you are correct. But you can’t realistically tell me Burnes has looked the equal of Morton so far. I agree that results are all we need to care about here, but of the two, Morton is far and away executing better.

Is he actually executing better...or is one just benefitting from the batters they are facing more?

Dang....Freeman just about gave us a big break.

I like how the announcer said it was a perfect strike to second.

Burnes had a shaky 1st.

Well, the White Sox are gonna be down 2-0 before we're halfway through this one, so I'm savoring possibilities.

Game was blown wide open thanks to a guy with the last name "Bummer" pitching.

Burnes the only dude who is throwing a no hitter while looking off. Good grief is he good.

[sarcasm]Here comes Counsell to pull him while he has a no-hitter going.[/sarcasm]

That Astros team has a chip on their shoulder. Look out.

That chip receives signals from a transmitter in center field.

The White Sox are one game away from being described as a team that ran away from the field in a weak Central Division but couldn’t measure up against tougher competition in the playoffs.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
