Walker's RAS is super high, which is clearly a predictor for GB.  Walker's RAS is the 76th highest of all LB in the last 35 years. So that's pretty great.

What other predictor are you missing on this one?

Dane Brugler: Overall, Walker is still developing his instincts, especially in coverage, but he aces the eye test with his exceptional combination of size, length and athleticism to dominate vs. the run. He has the potential to be a four-down impact linebacker in the NFL.

Bucky Brooks said the picture Berry has for Quay Walker is Derrick Brooks

THIS. He's a true 3 down LB stud. We have our TB LB crew. I'm telling you, this kid is legit a stud. I never thought I'd see the day we drafted an ILB in the first rd but I love the pick. Huge value for what Barry wants to do.

For those in the know more than me, Dean seemed to be the 1st round LB guy from the Georgia defense. What is pushing him down and Walker up?

Smaller and fears he's more a gadget LB whereas Quay has the size and is also insanely athletic. It was rumored Walker was rising fast while Dean was falling.

Yep. This is what Joe Barry asked for for Draftmas.

For one, Walker has 4 inches and 20 lbs on Dean and is a much better fit in GBs scheme

Are the Packers trying to bring the entire Bulldogs defense to Green Bay?

Oh man, if they nabbed Wyatt...whewwww. You might be right. LOL.

I'm wondering if PIckens drops for the same reason - character.

I predicted a trade down at #28 and I'm going to stick with it. (Of course, I predicted trading up at #22).

You got it, both Pickens and Johnson are major character risks. A trade down is very likely.

MLB having an expansion team in Vegas? How can you NOT predict that with the city showing so well tonight!

I remember watching the SEC championship game and thinking, who is this LB that is making plays deep in the secondary?  Saw that it was Walker and made a mental note to put him in my mock.

I just want to again impart: Jermaine Johnson has character red flags...this is what explains his fall at present. I keep saying it sounds like a Cowboys pick. We shall see.

Sounds good. Let's add Wyatt at #28.

Yeah, major props. It's a surprising pick based on the name, but all of the factors seem to make sense.

Georgia could've beaten a couple NFL teams, so why not? ?

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

"A penalty that is waiting to happen" - Sounds like the Cowboys.

I wonder if Johnson goes to the Vikings.  He is from Eden Prarie (MSP suburb).
