The Brewers have shown that they can still score meaningless runs against the mop up relievers on the league’s worst teams. 
 

Early in the year they were scoring to pile on in games that were already won. Now they pick them up in lost causes.

Very late to the funeral here. But Yelich going 3 for 5 in the leadoff spot suggests that he's better (i.e., gets more pitches to hit) when there's at least the possibility of a good hitter behind him,  Too bad we don't have enough of them.

Please.  No sunshine pumpers citing various numbers to show that the Crew is better than the record. It's like Mark Twain saying Wagner's music is "better than it sounds."  The Brewers are losing and they cannot hit when it matters.  Maybe there will be a big renaissance in July. Really.  But I wouldn't bet the contents of my penny jar on it.
