Do not run on Hunter

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

The ump was learning in two feet away with the perfect angle and still missed that? ?‍♂️

Not sure how he missed that ! No obstruction at all.

Wait, didn’t this game start two hours ago? How is it still only three top of the fifth?

Top of the last inning. Megill threw like 35 pitches and then left with injury. Brewers then worked some more deep counts and put some hits together against his replacement.

Thanks. I was putting my kids to bed and missed that entire inning.

Hopefully Ashby’s problem is a minor lower body thing like a hamstring tweak that won’t cause him to miss a start.

4 games against the Cardinals next week is going to be challenging enough without having to resort to another emergency starter.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Well, good thing we have one of the best pitchers in baseball going on a rehab assignment Saturday....

That will be a good thing if he pitches like one of the best pitchers in baseball and not like he did before his health issues.

I mean, even great pitchers have their "rough" patches. His peripheral numbers are virtually unchanged from the last few years.
