Guerra hammered today………lots of questions in that bullpen and not a lot of answers.

Houser looked very nice in relief today in addition to his stellar career #s. I think he'll be a welcome, stabilizing addition to the pen.

As Brewcrew above mentioned, Houser is headed for the Bullpen. 2ks and typical infield single in a clean IP.  Houser is going to be good in the bullpen.

I'm a little more concerned on Adames. Not sure his preseason batting average has yet to exceed Mendoza line. Wasn't used much in WBC. Feeling he's behind schedule.

Long outing for Freddy to pitch in to the 6th inning. Of the big 3, youd think they would have a softer pitch schedule with his lower full season IP history.  Maybe he was cruising on a low pitch outing.

I love our starters but man this pen going to be shaky and in Flux

It's more unproven than we're used to, but I think the arms are there.

Yeah not feeling good on Adames either. Not making great contact when he actually hits the ball and he’s whiffing a ton. 39% K-rate in spring right now with 0 walks.

Varland has such good stuff. I hope Payamps comes down with a mysterious case of shoulder soreness or something like that so Varland can get a few more weeks before the Brewers have to make a decision.

Fans here wanted the Brewers to draft Groome, Pint or Puk.  The experts knew better and took Corey Ray.

lol

That just came out of nowhere!

Really, unless they were advocating for Quantrill or one of the guys taken after pick 20, no one in that debate is looking good right now.

Boy, I just went back and looked at the first couple of rounds of that draft.  Ugly with a capital U.   Wow.  Next to no players that have amounted to anything.

This is atleast the 2nd time I can remember Counsell specifically mentioning Yeager. He must be making a good impression
