The double pushes Turang's July OPS up to just over .650 in 70 plate appearances, not Earth shattering but moving out of the black hole category and into OKish with the defense.

This team reminds me of my youngest daughter's softball teams: solid pitching, good defense, but only about 3 players who could actually hit. It's just not enough at crunch time.

I watched the Giants and Cardinals from 2006-2015 win..5 Championships?...with a couple of WS losses? All the while the Brewers had one of the top lineups in the league...but we all (BF.com) lamented about how pitching and defense wins in the playoffs...

I still have long-term questions about his offense but if he can just linger around .680, I think the Brewers can live with that for awhile.
