Monasterio. Again.

No one tell him he's not supposed to be this good.

Has a higher OPS and more than half the bWAR of Elly De La Cruz (before todays game) in about 50% of the ABs. Hard to believe based on the EDLC hype.

Not that it is expect that to continue that way, but nice to see for Monasterio.

this is yet another testament to being patient with talented players. It takes these guys time. Time and opportunity.

This is an internet fan board. What in the world is wrong with you?

Big win in the last “”two game swing” game of the season with the Reds.

When I saw Mejia throwing next to Williams after Montaserio’s RBI double, I was actually hoping Miller wouldn’t drive in the run.

Especially with a day off tomorrow I’d rather see Williams with a 3 run lead and some margin for error over Mejia with a 4 run lead.

4 run leads suck. Feels like more often than not you just end up blowing 2 relievers because the low leverage guy chokes the game into a save situation.

That tells you all you need to know about the value of media hype, especially in baseball.

When you have a heater as good as Freddy, today was yet another lesson:

You still eat your bread with your off-speed stuff. Off-speed is so important. It sets everything else up. The heater becomes even more lethal. We saw it in Burnes' start two games ago. Today, Peralta was so mature in his arsenal and his stuff. But, the off-speed was what made it go.

I think this is always how Freddy wants to pitch. The issue is his command comes and goes on his secondary pitches too much which can force him at times to rely too much on his FB.

100% correct. Man, if we could get this location on a game-by-game basis? Whewwwww.

Probably too much to ask for, but if he could just avoid the blowup outings, it would be awesome. He's had 4 ER or more in 6 of his 20 starts this season. That's just way too much for a guy who has not pitched more than 6.0 innings this season.

Thank you for the good times, Brewers!

From the top of the organization all the way down to the hot dog vendors and ground crew, thank you!

Thank you, Bud Selig!

Baseball in Milwaukee is fun this season, again!

Between his offense and defense, I don't see a need to prioritize a 3B acquisition.
