Nola pitched into the 8th against Milwaukee on July 18. Allowed 3 R, 2 ER. Brewers lost 4-3.

Colin Rea pitched against PHI the next day, allowing 2 ER in 5 IP. Brewers won, 5-3.

Just need Rea to avoid the HR ball today. It’s what plagued him in his last few starts before being optioned and Philly is hitting a ton of them lately.

This has pretty much everything going against the Crew.  I'll be happily surprised if they find a way to win this one.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Aaron Nola at home: 3.17 ERA

Aaron Nola on the road: 5.26 ERA.

Phillies are playing the Brewers on the road, I believe...

That's so bizarre especially considering Philly doesn't exactly have a pitchers park.

If Rea can give us 5 IP and 2 ER again, I'd feel pretty good about the game.

Is Miley hurt? If not, why are we insisting on not skipping housers spot and going For the win? it is September and this is a good team you’re playing.

With all of the off days it has basically acted as a 6 man rotation even though only using 5. Trying to get Miley through the rest of the season without anI stint.

Aaron Nola is maybe ahead of Wainwright as the #1 Brewer killer:

6-1 life time with a 2.30 ERA in 11 starts, 66 career innings with 76 strike outs, and just 4 homeruns allowed. The Brewers have a career .286 OBP against Nola.

I've seen just about enough of Schwarber.

Stop throwing balls over the plate to him.  It’s literally the only thing he can do

Dude is a 0.0 WAR player because he can't play defense, and hits below .200, but our pitchers insist on throwing him center cut meatballs, so the one thing he CAN do (hit homeruns) is in play.
