ZEBULON – The Milwaukee Brewers recently announced a series roster transactions affecting the Carolina Mudcats active roster. Walling is listed as an INF (1B, technically) by MiLB but he hasn't played an infield inning for the Brewers since being drafted out of high school. Every one has been spent on the OF grass. The vast majority in RF. Obviously, we know that can change as he gets into affiliated ball (especially with Hall's promotion), but for the sake of what has transpired...that positional designation is quite odd/interesting/portentious by MiLB. I mean, we know they do that all over the map with the DSL. Anywho, I guess we'll see what happens in Zebulon - will he start seeing action in new places?

SHUCKERS ANNOUNCE MULTIPLE MOVES PRIOR TO SERIES OPENER AGAINST M-BRAVES

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that C/1B Wes Clarke and SS/2B Freddy Zamora have been promoted to Triple-A Nashville. OF Noah Campbell has been transferred to Biloxi from Nashville. Campbell will wear No. 14. The Shuckers' active roster stands at 26 players.

Over 147 career games with Biloxi, Clarke ranks among the all-time franchise leaders in slugging percentage (2nd, .507), home runs (3rd, 34), walks (3rd, 104) and extra-base hits (T-5th, 64). Zamora was promoted after 159 career games with the Shuckers across three seasons.

Campbell was previously promoted to Triple-A Nashville on April 23 after a .324/.479/.486 slash line with Biloxi in 14 games. He enters today with a 13-game on-base streak at the Double-A level. He appeared in 17 games with Nashville this season.

SHUCKERS OF CARLOS RODRIGUEZ REINSTATED FROM 7-DAY INJURED LIST

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that OF Carlos Rodriguez has been reinstated from the 7-Day Injured List prior to the Shuckers’ doubleheader today against the Mississippi Braves. The active roster stands at 27 players.

Rodriguez was previously placed on the 7-Day Injured List on May 7, 2024. He enters today fourth in the Southern League in average (.315) and eighth in on-base percentage (.385). 

Rodriguez was named the Southern League Player of the Week on May 6 after going 12-for-19 (.632) with a double and triple in the Shuckers’ series at the Tennessee Smokies. Rodriguez collected three multi-hit performances and tied the franchise record with five hits in a 5-for-5 night on Wednesday, May 1.

Ever since the surprising switch to CF, his bat was on a roll. Now he has been out for almost a week. Hope everything is ok. All I hear about this guy, at least on here, is good things as a person and player. Hope we get to see him back in the lineup soon.

LHP ADAM SEMINARIS REINSTATED FROM SHUCKERS 7-DAY INJURED LIST

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that LHP Adam Seminaris has been reinstated from the 7-Day Injured List. Seminaris was previously placed on the injured list on May 10 (retro. May 9). The active roster stands at 28 players.

In six appearances and one start with Biloxi this season, Seminaris has 21 strikeouts and six walks over 18.1 innings.
